At Coffiato, we believe that brewing coffee is not just a routine - it’s a ritual. The right technique can transform your cup into a moment of calm, creativity, or connection. Whether you prefer a smooth House Blend pour-over or a bold 6 Bean Blend espresso, here’s how to bring café-quality coffee into your home.
1. Start With Freshness
All great coffee begins with freshly roasted beans. Our small-batch roasts are sealed immediately after roasting to preserve their aroma and oils. For best results, grind your beans right before brewing - just enough for your daily ritual.
2. Measure With Care
The golden ratio for balance is 1 : 16 - one part coffee to sixteen parts water.
That means 25 g of coffee to 400 ml of water for a standard pour-over.
3. Water Temperature Matters
Use water heated between 92 °C – 96 °C (197 °F – 205 °F).
Too hot, and your brew will taste bitter; too cool, and it’ll be weak. Precision transforms flavor.
4. Choose Your Brewing Style
-
Pour-Over: Bright, clean, ideal for single origins like Ethiopia Natural or Colombia.
-
French Press: Full-bodied, rich, perfect for Brazil Santos or 6 Bean Blend.
-
Espresso Machine: Bold and creamy, best for House Blend or Signature Collection.
-
Cold Brew: Smooth and refreshing, perfect for Cold & Convenient lovers.
5. Enjoy the Moment
Take a sip before adding milk or sugar - experience the natural balance and aromas. Every roast is crafted to speak for itself.
